Where is the waist risk range (healthy waist size target) in the updated Styku Studio?
The waist risk range — the display that shows the target waist size needed to fall within a low-risk category — is part of the Health Screen module. In Styku Studio, that module runs on per-scan credits: its results appear for a Preventative Body Scan rather than for every standard scan. If you upgraded and the waist risk range is no longer visible on standard scans, that is why; it is not something that needs to be re-enabled or restarted.
What requires a Preventative Body Scan vs. what you always have
Section titled “What requires a Preventative Body Scan vs. what you always have”The raw waist circumference measurement is available on every plan in the Dashboard and Body Metrics views. What requires a Preventative Body Scan (Health Screen module) is the risk interpretation layered on top of it — the waist risk range, the low-risk target, and the inch-loss risk-reduction goal slider — along with the Disease Risk section of the PDF scan report.
Setting a waist goal on a standard scan
Section titled “Setting a waist goal on a standard scan”You can still give clients a meaningful waist target using standard clinical thresholds:
- Women: aim for under 35 inches.
- Men: aim for under 40 inches.
Exceeding these thresholds is associated with increased risk of several preventable diseases. Take the client’s current waist measurement from their scan results and calculate the reduction needed to reach the target.
How to get the Health Screen module
Section titled “How to get the Health Screen module”The Health Screen module is currently available only to HealthPass providers. It is coming to other customers, but no release date is available yet.
If you are a HealthPass provider, the module runs on scan credits: the Health Screen results (disease-risk indicators, Health Score, risk-reduction goal, and the Disease Risk pages of the PDF report) appear for a Preventative Body Scan, which uses one credit, and your client pays you for the screen. Credits are $60 for a single screen or from $35 each in a pack, purchased in the HealthPass Provider Portal.
In Styku Studio Version 6, HealthPass providers can sell a Preventative Body Scan at the scanner, and an eligible standard scan can be upgraded to a Preventative Body Scan without re-scanning, in Studio or in the Styku mobile app.
If you are a US customer and want access to the Health Screen now, the only current route is to become a HealthPass provider. Contact Styku Support through the Business Portal at styku.com/portal to ask about becoming a HealthPass provider.
If you are outside the United States, the Health Screen is not yet available — HealthPass is a US-only program at this time.
See How much does the Health Screen cost and how do scan credits work? for prices and further detail on how the module works for HealthPass providers. If Health Screen results are not appearing on a Preventative Body Scan you have sold, contact Styku Support through the Business Portal at styku.com/portal.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the waist risk range is missing on a Preventative Body Scan you have sold or upgraded, contact support and include: your business name, your current subscription plan, the version of Styku Studio you are running (visible in the app settings or title bar), and whether the issue appeared after a software upgrade.
Applies to: Styku Studio, all Styku scanner configurations
