Can I still tap the 3D model to select a body measurement in Styku Studio?

Yes. Selecting a specific body measurement by interacting directly with the visual 3D model is still available in Styku Studio. This capability was not removed in the Styku Studio update. You can tap or click a region of the model — or the measurement line itself — to select that measurement and view its value.

This is a separate feature from the Total Inches Lost summary metric, which was removed in Styku Studio. The removal of that single combined progress figure does not affect your ability to select and view individual measurements on the model. See the related article on Total Inches Lost for details on that specific change.

In the 3D viewport, you can select a measurement two ways — both work in Styku Studio:

  1. Tap or click the body region on the 3D model (for example, the waist area).
  2. Tap or click the measurement line (the circumference ring/tape drawn on the model).

When a measurement is selected:

  • The measurement line changes from grey to cyan to show it is active.
  • The measurement value appears next to the selected measurement directly in the 3D viewport.

Viewing the Value and Trend Graph (Body Metrics Tab)

Section titled “Viewing the Value and Trend Graph (Body Metrics Tab)”

To see the selected measurement’s value alongside its trend over time, use the Body Metrics tab:

  1. Open the Body Metrics tab.
  2. Select a measurement on the 3D model (tap the body region or the measurement line) — it highlights in cyan.
  3. The tab displays the measurement’s current value and a graph of how that measurement has changed across the client’s scan dates.

This lets you drill into any single measurement and show a client exactly how that site has changed over time.

Using It in Split Screen (Side-by-Side Comparison)

Section titled “Using It in Split Screen (Side-by-Side Comparison)”

Measurement selection on the model also works in Split Screen comparison mode:

  1. Load two or more scans for the client.
  2. Press Split Screen to view the scans side by side (oldest on the left, newest on the right).
  3. Select a measurement on either model. Because the two views are locked together, the selection mirrors to the other scan automatically — so you are comparing the same measurement on both scans at once.

This makes it easy to show a client the before-and-after change for a specific body site in a single view.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If the problem persists, contact support and include: your Styku Studio software version number (visible in the app settings), which measurement you are trying to select, whether you are in single-scan or Split Screen view, and a description of what happens (or does not happen) when you tap the model.
