How can I show a client their before and after scans, and highlight progress with Styku?
Styku Studio includes several tools to help practitioners visualize and communicate a client’s body changes over time. These can be used together in a single review session.
Option 1: Measurement Graphs and Progress Summary
Section titled “Option 1: Measurement Graphs and Progress Summary”- Load two or more scans for the client. The dashboard automatically displays a summary of the change to each measurement across the loaded scans.
- To drill into any individual measurement, select it in the 3D viewport — tap the body region or click the measurement line; both work. The selected measurement highlights in cyan and its value appears next to it. On the Body Metrics tab you also get a graph of how that measurement has changed over time across all scan dates. (This model-tap selection is still available in Styku Studio.)
- Measurement graphs are also accessible through the sub-tabs in the software for each measurement.
Option 2: Split Screen (Side-by-Side Comparison)
Section titled “Option 2: Split Screen (Side-by-Side Comparison)”- Press the Split Screen button on the lower right. Press Full Screen for a larger view.
- The 3D view splits in two: oldest scan on the left, newest on the right. The two views are locked — rotating or clicking one automatically mirrors the other.
- To get a cleaner visual, press the view tape button to toggle measurement lines off.
- Rotate and zoom from any angle to show the client changes from all perspectives.
Option 3: Profile and Silhouette Overlay
Section titled “Option 3: Profile and Silhouette Overlay”- Press the Profile (P) button in the top right to switch to profile view.
- Press Split Screen to display the two profiles side by side.
- Press the Silhouette (S) button to switch to silhouette view, which shows the body outline from the front.
- Press Split Screen again to merge or separate the outlines.
Option 4: Cross Section View
Section titled “Option 4: Cross Section View”- Select the circumference measurement you want to examine.
- Press the Cross Section button on the right.
- When two scans are loaded, the earlier scan appears in red and the newer scan in green, making shape change at that site immediately visible.
Option 5: Progress Report (Email)
Section titled “Option 5: Progress Report (Email)”- Press the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose Progress Report and press Email.
- Select the pages to include, then press Set Pages.
- Confirm the client’s email address and press Send.
- The split screen and profile overlay views are most effective as client-facing motivation tools — the visual impact of body shape change often resonates more than scale weight alone.
- All tools can be used together within a single client review session.
- The Trends view can track any metric: circumferences, body composition values, BMI, weight, and more.
- Additional training on the Fitness & Weight Loss, Posture & Alignment, Aesthetics & Sculpting, Dashboard & Metrics, and Health Screen & Prevention modules is available in the Styku training portal.
If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.
If the problem persists, contact support and include: the client profile name (or anonymized ID), the scan dates being compared, and a description of which tool is not functioning as expected.
Applies to: Styku Studio, all Styku scanner configurations
