Styku plan migration: what is changing, when it takes effect, and your options

Styku has replaced its older software plans (Growth Plan, Pro Plan, and the legacy Enterprise Plan) with two current plans, Access and Elite, plus individually priced specialty modules. Customers whose software subscription is under $219/month and who are not already on Access or Elite are being moved to one of the current plans. Styku sends each customer a written notice at least 30 days before the change, and the new plan takes effect on the first billing date that falls 30 or more days after that notice.

If you are already paying $219/month or more for your software subscription, your price is not changing and you are not being migrated.

Nothing is being removed from your scanner or your data. What changes is that the specialty modules are now priced instead of being switched on for free.

During the move to the new Styku Studio platform, Styku switched every module on for all customers so they could try the full platform. Those modules never appeared as a line on your invoice. With the current plan structure, each specialty module is priced on its own, and you choose which ones you keep.

Plan or add-on Monthly price What it includes
Access $199/mo Dashboard module (150+ biometrics, 3D viewer, body composition, circumferences, trends), unlimited standard body scans, scan-to-scan progress and goals, PDF scan reports, CSV and OBJ export, Styku Mobile App and AI Guided Review for your clients, Styku API Standard tier, payment gateway, Business Portal, Styku Academy, onboarding and support
Specialty module add-on $100/mo each (standard) · $50/mo each for existing customers moving from a legacy plan Adds one of Aesthetics & Sculpting, Fitness & Weight-Loss, or Posture & Alignment to Access
Elite $499/mo list price for new customers; existing customers moving from a legacy plan see $399/mo with a $100/mo legacy customer discount, so they pay $299/mo Everything in Access plus all three specialty modules and the Styku API Pro tier (webhooks, async tasks, response caching, ID-based profile lookup)

No plan is priced below $199/mo.

Access plus one module at the legacy module rate is $249/mo. This is the most common landing point for customers who were on the Pro Plan and use one specialty module.

Styku does not offer an Enterprise plan as part of the migration. Enterprise is a separate, custom-priced conversation with the sales team for multi-location networks that need the Enterprise API tier and Leaderboard analytics.

For the full comparison and module descriptions, see:

Every plan reads the same scan. The difference between Access and Elite is which specialty modules are switched on:

  • Aesthetics & Sculpting — body contouring goals, treatment-area inch loss, regional circumferences, volumes and surface areas. Used by med-spas and body-contouring providers.
  • Fitness & Weight-Loss — body fat classification, segmental analysis, fat-loss and muscle-gain calculators, BMR, caloric deficit or surplus, macronutrient ratios. Used by gyms, weight-management clinics, dietitians and trainers.
  • Posture & Alignment — postural analysis, shoulder and hip shifts, tilt tracking, before/after views. Used by physio, chiropractic, rehab and performance programs.

The Dashboard is on every plan. Elite for migrating customers currently includes the three specialty modules above. The Health Screen (Preventative Body Scan results, Health Score, Disease Risk report pages) is currently available only to HealthPass providers; it is not yet available to customers who are not HealthPass providers, and there is no release date. When it becomes available to Elite customers it will join Elite as a fourth module. See How much does the Health Screen cost and how do scan credits work?

Look at the modules page to check which tabs your team opens regularly. If it is one module, Access plus that module is usually the right fit. If it is two or more, Elite is the better value.

  • Styku is required to give at least 30 days’ written notice before changing your subscription price.
  • Your new plan and price apply on your next billing date that falls 30 or more days after the notice was sent. The change is not prorated. For most customers that is a billing date in October 2026.
  • If you did not receive the notice, tell Styku support. Your 30 days start from the date Styku confirms the change to you directly, not from the original send date.
  • Your billing date is the renewal date shown on your invoices. Support can confirm it for you.

Migrated customers are placed on Elite. Your invoice will show:

  • Elite — $399/month
  • Legacy customer discount — −$100/month
  • You pay: $299/month

The $399 line is the standard Elite price. The $100 discount is your permanent legacy customer rate. You are not being charged $399; the discount brings your charge to $299/month.

If your account has more than one recurring charge, check the plan name on each. Hardware Leasing Program, X2 Body Scanner Installment Plan, X2L Installment Plan, Styku Repayment Plan, and Styku Care are hardware, financing, or warranty products. They are not software plans and are not changed by the migration. Only the software plan line (Growth Plan, Pro Plan, or legacy Enterprise Plan) moves to Access or Elite.

A $199 hardware lease and a $199 Access plan look identical if you read only the amount. If you are unsure which charge is which, see What is the difference between a Styku software subscription and an installment payment? or ask support to confirm.

  1. Access at $199/mo. Right for most single-program locations. Everything you need to scan and track progress.
  2. Access plus the one module you use, at the legacy rate ($249/mo). Keeps the one specialty module your team relies on.
  3. Elite at the legacy rate of $299/mo. All three specialty modules (Aesthetics & Sculpting, Fitness & Weight-Loss, and Posture & Alignment) and the Pro API tier. The Health Screen will join Elite when it becomes available to non-HealthPass customers; no date has been announced.
  4. Annual prepay. Available on request for any plan.

You cannot change plans yourself in the Business Portal. Reply to your migration notice or submit a ticket through the Styku Business Portal at https://www.styku.com/portal stating which plan (and which module, if any) you want. Support confirms the plan and the effective date in writing. Moving between Access and Elite does not change anything about your scanner or your data; it only switches specialty modules on or off.

Styku recorded a session that walks through all the plans and everything shipped over the last year. See Where can I watch the Styku plans and product-update webinar recording? for the link and passcode.

Under the Styku Customer Terms of Service, Styku may increase subscription fees at renewal up to the then-current list price with at least 30 days’ notice, and legacy product customers may be moved to current products. If you do not agree to the change, you may give notice of non-renewal before the end of your current term. See Styku Customer Terms of Service — Subscription Term and Automatic Renewal and Styku Customer Terms of Service — Service Access, Features, Availability & Limits.
