Where did the health risk metrics go in Styku Studio?

If cardiovascular, cancer, and obesity-related disease risk metrics are no longer visible after updating to Styku Studio, it is because these metrics are part of the Health Screen & Prevention module. The disease-risk metrics, and the Disease Risk section of the PDF scan report, appear for a Preventative Body Scan (one credit) rather than for every standard scan.

This is a packaging change, not a bug. The metrics were not relocated to another tab in your existing software; the module that produces them is now a per-scan service rather than a default view on every standard scan.

Availability note: The Health Screen module is currently available only to HealthPass providers. It is coming to other customers, but no release date has been set. If you are based in the US and want access now, you can enquire about becoming a HealthPass provider — that is the only route available today. Outside the US, the Health Screen (and HealthPass) is not yet available.

Older versions of Styku Studio displayed health risk metrics — disease-risk multipliers and a waist inch-loss goal slider showing how many inches a client needed to reduce to move from a higher-risk to a lower-risk category — on the main results screen for most accounts.

Those metrics now live in the Health Screen module and appear when a scan is a Preventative Body Scan. A standard scan does not show them.

What you can still see and do on every plan

Section titled “What you can still see and do on every plan”

The raw measurements that underlie health risk are still available to all plans in the Dashboard and Body Metrics views:

  • Waist circumference
  • Waist-to-hip ratio (WHR)
  • Body fat percentage

What requires a Preventative Body Scan (Health Screen module, one credit — available to HealthPass providers):

  • The disease-risk multipliers (cardiovascular, cancer, respiratory, all-cause).
  • The Health Score and Health Risks Summary.
  • The waist inch-loss risk-reduction goal slider.
  • The Disease Risk section of the PDF summary scan report.

Communicating waist-based risk on a standard scan

Section titled “Communicating waist-based risk on a standard scan”

On a standard scan, you can still advise clients using the standard clinical waist thresholds: under 35 inches for women and under 40 inches for men. Exceeding these thresholds is associated with increased risk of several preventable diseases. Take the client’s current waist measurement from their scan results and calculate the target reduction directly.

When you do have access to disease-risk figures (as a HealthPass provider), translating relative risk into plain language helps clients act on it — for example, a 1.7x risk of cardiovascular disease is a 70% increased risk compared to baseline.

How the Health Screen module works (HealthPass providers)

Section titled “How the Health Screen module works (HealthPass providers)”

For HealthPass providers, the Health Screen runs on scan credits: the Health Screen results (disease-risk indicators, Health Score, risk-reduction goal, and the Disease Risk pages of the PDF report) appear for a Preventative Body Scan, which uses one credit. There is no separate monthly fee for the module beyond scan credits. Credits are $60 for a single screen or from $35 each in a pack, purchased in the HealthPass Provider Portal.

In Styku Studio Version 6, HealthPass providers can sell a Preventative Body Scan at the scanner, and an eligible standard scan can be upgraded to a Preventative Body Scan without re-scanning, in Studio or in the Styku mobile app.

If you are a US-based customer interested in access to the Health Screen today, contact Styku to enquire about becoming a HealthPass provider. If you are outside the US, the Health Screen is not yet available in your region.

If this resolves your issue, no further action is needed.

If Health Screen results are missing on a Preventative Body Scan you have sold or upgraded, contact support and include: your business name, your current subscription plan, your Styku Studio version number (visible in the app settings), and a description of which specific metrics you cannot locate.
